After a little rest after Art Soak, we have now set up a flickr account – with over 50 great pics taken at Arts Soak – including the choir, the B30 walk, the laundrette poetry, the felt making workshop, synchronised swimming films at Cocksmoors Woods leisure centre, and the cycling installation at Tiverton Pool, and a couple of images from the evening at TASCOs.
You’ll notice there’s now a flickr link at the right hand side of this post on this wordpress site – and if you scroll down, we now have a ‘like us on facebook’ button! Things are going high tech!
Thank you to everyone who made Art Soak a success – everyone who was involved at the CBSO, Friends of Cotteridge Park, all the choir members, staff at all the venues, everyone who participated in the activities, all those who have had an input along the way and volunteers on the day! Other news: Selly Oak constituency community choir made their second public appearance (and their first indoor performance) at the Symphony Hall on Thursday evening, performing to an audience of about 200, prior to CBSO’s The Dream of Gerontius. They sounded fantastic. New rehearsal dates will be announced soon.
