CBSO COMMUNITY CHOIR PERFORMANCE

As part of the Art Champions scheme, the CBSO have developed Selly Oak Constituency Community Choir. They will be performing a number of songs in Cotteridge Park’s amphitheatre as a warm-up to their Symphony Hall performance in April. This event has been supported by Friends of Cotteridge Park and Cotteridge Junior and Infant School.
WALK THE B30 IN STIRCHLEY

Following the success of Stirchley Happening’s arty Walk the B30 a few weeks back, it is being repeated as a fringe event of Birmingham’s Still Walking festival, and Art Soak.
Follow Tom Cahill-Jones as he traces out the letters B, 3 and O using footpaths in the area.The walk starts at 11am on the corner of Maryvale Road and takes approximately an hour.
FAMILY FELT MAKING ON THE MOBILE ARTS UNIT

Local artist Penny Dixon will be on board the council’s fantastic Arts on the Move unit outside Druid’s Heath library. Join in with this felt-making workshop and contribute to a felt wall hanging for display.
FILMS AT COCKS MOORS WOODS LEISURE CENTRE

FILM INSTALLATION AT TIVERTON POOL

Explore this 1906 public baths (home of rehearsals by the national Birmingham City Swimming Club’s Synchronised Swimming team) to find an exciting interactive hidden film screening. This event has been supported by staff at Tiverton Road Baths, Stirchley Happenings through their Travelling Bug House, and the Birmingham Bike Foundry.
POETRY AT SELLY SOAK

Most of the Arts Soak Venues are on the 11A/11C bus route (Hall Green – Billesley -Kings Heath – Stirchley – Cotteridge – Bournville – Selly Oak – Harborne)
Druids Heath Library and Cocks Moors Woods Leisure Centre are on the number 50 route (Birmingham – Moseley – Kings Heath – Maypole – Druids Heath)
Tiverton Pool is approx 7 minute walk from Bristol Road, Buses 61, 62, 63 and 76 or a 3 minute walk from Selly Oak train station.
Cotteridge and Stirchley are connected by the 47/45 bus service down Pershore Road – stops by Coop Supermarket for TASCOs evening event. Number 27 also runs nearby linking Kings Heath with Stirchley and Druids Heath.
